Macro moss

Had a quick trip up in the forest with Mum and Dad today. I lent Mum my 10 - 20mm lens and I borrowed her macro lens. These mosses and their spore capsules made a good subject. 

today I went on a trip to portland with Seth, Jethro, Mum, Dad and Lewis. It was supost to be a photographing trip, but the weather was a bit dull, However there were still some good opportuntites for a bit of experimentation. I tried my new 10 - 20 mm lens and here is one of the results. 

Fungii

Found this on a walk through Latchmore today. This fungus was growing on an old dead fuzzbush trunk. 

The shortest day.

Now that we are tilting back toward the sun I figured I'd start my blogg. Here I hope to post images of what I am doing. My travels with work, Projects at home, Trips with Michelle & lewis and whatever I get upto - If I have my camera.

The image here is of our straw man burning on Dec 21th, the shortest day - so for the next 6 months the days will get longer as the northern hemisphere tips back toward the sun.
